Dr. Jennifer Johnson

Dr. Jennifer Johnson
  • Assistant Professor
  • Research interests: photosynthesis, respiration, ecophysiology, biosphere-atmosphere interactions, Earth system science

Education

Ph.D. in Biology, Stanford University, 2014
B.A. in Biology, Swarthmore College, 2005

Research

Dr. Johnson’s research program focuses on understanding the physiological processes that drive the “breathing” of the Earth’s biosphere: photosynthesis and respiration. Current work in the lab ranges from exploring how these processes work at a molecular level to monitoring their aggregate global activity.
