Biography

Mentor: Dr. Katya Mack

Research Interests: My research explores how organisms adapt to extreme environments through the evolution of gene regulation. I am particularly interested in how cis- and trans-regulatory variation reshapes gene expression under environmental stress and ultimately contributes to adaptive phenotypic evolution. By examining how regulatory mechanisms evolve, I aim to understand the molecular architecture that allows life not only to survive under extreme conditions, but to adapt and thrive.
