Johana Goyes Vallejos, post-doctoral reseacher, featured research in New York Times

Tuesday, December 4, 2018

Congratulations to Dr. Johana Goyes Vallejos, postdoctoral researcher who is mentored by Rafe Brown, whose research on parental care in Fanged Frogs (i.e., elaborate care and transport of tadpoles from terrestrial nests to water by their fathers) has just been covered by the New York Times in a detailed sory by reporter Roberta Kwok.

See the story online; and Dr. Goyes' amazing accompanying video which captures, for the first time, some fantastic dads of the frog world and their piggy-back riding tadpoles!
