Department of Ecology & Evolutionary Biology GRA Pay Matrix for 2017 - 2018

GRA-M (3A)
Student pursuing a master’s degree with no relevant experience; performs assigned research.

GRA-M (3B)
Master’s student with 2+ years of related experience in industry, military service, accredited technical school, or university

GRA-P (4A)
A student pursuing Ph.D. degree without a master’s degree.  Primary responsibility is to conduct research as assigned and relevant to the PhD degree.  No relevant experience. 

GRA-P (4B)
A student pursuing Ph.D. degree without a master’s degree.  Primary responsibility is to conduct research relevant PhD degree.  2+ years related experience in industry, military service, accredited technical school, or university. 

GRA-P (4C)
Ph.D. student with master’s degree.  Primary responsibility is to conduct research relevant to PhD degree.  2+ years of related experience in industry, military service, accredited technical school, or university.

GRA-PS (5)
Students pursuing Ph.D. degree. Primary responsibilities include involvement in final reports, writing articles for publication, supervision of one or more students, and conducting research relevant to the PhD degree.  Master’s degree and/or 2+ years experience.
