Dr. Katie Becklin, post-doctoral fellow in Joy Ward's lab, has just received two honors. First, she has won the Plant, Cell, and Environment Postdoctoral Award for her talk at the Ecological Society of America meeting in Portland, OR on August 8, 2012. Her talk was entitled: "Mycorrhizal functioning across the glacial-interglacial transition: Evidence from stable isotopes". Due to this award, her talk will be featured in an editorial in Plant, Cell, and Environment in the near future.
Dr. Becklin has also been granted a three-year full post-doctoral fellowship through the IRACDA program that is sponsored by NIH at the University of Kansas for continuation of her research and outreach activities.
