Andrew Short elected President-Elect of Systematics, Evolution, and Biodiversity Section of ESA

Andrew Short has been elected as President Elect of the Systematics, Evolution, and Biodiversity Section of the Entomological Society of America (ESA). With more than 7000 members, ESA is the largest professional society devoted to the field of entomology in the world and has members affiliated with educational institutions, health agencies, private industry, and government. The society is divided into four sections by discipline, and in his new position, Andrew will serve a 4-year term on the Governing Council. As such, he will be able to help guide the society’s initiatives, position statements, and science policies.
