BIOL 102: Principles of Biology Laboratory
BIOL 150: Principles Molecular & Cellular Biology
BIOL 152: Principles of Organismal Biology
Anatomy Courses (6 GTAs)
Victor Gonzales, Laboratory Program Director, will assign the GTAs for
BIOL 240: Fundamentals of Human Anatomy
BIOL 241: Anatomy Observation Laboratory
BIOL 442: Human Anatomy Dissection Laboratory
Majors & Upper Level Courses (? indicates that GTA assignment depends on number of student enrolled and availability of funding)
BIOL 350: Principles of Genetics (3 GTAs)
BIOL 412: Evolutionary Biology (4 GTAs)
BIOL 428: Introduction to Systematics (1/2 GTA?)
BIOL 583: Herpetology and lab (1/2 GTA?)
The number of GTAs assigned to a course depends on enrollment and availability funding and is subject to change. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that EEB has implemented a deadline for withdrawing from Spring 2021 GTA assignments in order to prevent scheduling problems caused by withdrawals close to the start of classes. The last day for students to withdraw from their GTA appointment is Monday, January 4, 2021. Any requests for release from GTA duties after the January 4, 2021, deadline will not be granted. Mentors and students are urged to meet well in advance of the deadline to determine whether a student will be funded through a GRA or GTA position.
